Yijia Xu(许益家)

About Me

I am currently an assistant research professor at the School of Cyber Science and Engineering, Sichuan University . My primary research interests lie in Web security and cyber threat. My work focuses on applying cutting-edge science and technology to address challenges in cyberspace security, offering solutions and methodologies. Recently, my research has concentrated on unknown threat perception, cyber strong confrontation, APT defense, and cyber attack traceability.

I obtained my PhD from Sichuan University in 2024, under the supervision of Prof. Fang Yong. Prior to this, I completed my bachelor’s and master’s degrees at Sichuan University. Currently, I am working as part of the Information Security Research Institute team at Sichuan University.

I sincerely invite talented and creative MS and Ph.D students to join our team. We are looking for students with a solid foundation in cybersecurity, a passion for learning, and a strong willingness to take on challenges. Additionally, candidates should maintain a healthy, optimistic, and positive mindset.

Priority will be given to candidates who meet one or more of the following criteria:

• Proficiency in specialized cybersecurity skills, such as risk testing or CTF.
• Great programming abilities, particularly in Python.
• A solid understanding of cutting-edge technologies, with the ability to quickly stay up-to-date on the latest trends.
• Previous experience with research tasks and the ability to think independently.
